Members
Co-Investigators
Co-Investigators are members of the Lawrence Heights Community:
- some are resident leaders in community groups,
- some are residents who bring individual experience and commitments,
- some are staff at organizations that actively serve the community.
Requirements for membership as a co-investigator are outlined in the “Who are we?” section.
Co-Investigators will participate in all aspects of the research project: team meetings, learning exchanges, the formulation of research questions, decisions regarding methodology, decisions on recruitment, data collection, data analysis and interpretation, dissemination and other research design and implementation concerns.
We recognize that with different individual and organizational capacities and interests, contributions will vary. However, those of us who participate as paid staff are committing our best efforts to: a) ensure extra mentorship and learning exchange opportunities for resident co-investigators, and b) provide meaningful honoraria in support of residents’ significant volunteer commitments to this project.
